AutoC
The goal of this project was to design a solution to automatically (or with minimal user inputs) commission several luminnaires in a building. I was involved in the user research, and interface design.
User Research
Interviews with project managers and service technicians to understand and identify opportunities to improve the process of commissioning a new building. Participants had between 0-20+ years of experience and were recruited from different European countries.
Storyboard / Flowcharts
- Storyboards and journey maps to help illustrate the overall work process
- Flowcharts to map in detail the commissioning process
User interface design
We designed a new system to support technicians commissioning luminaires; new UI components according to the company’s design system; and validated the design with recurrent sessions with technicians to collect feedback.
